About

This blog is a hodge-podge of my random thoughts about life. I go through phases of updating it regularly. I like to share stories about my life here – what I’m doing, what I’m learning, what sort of funny or ironic things are happening to me, etc.

The inspiration for the blog title is this poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow:

“Ships that pass in the night, and speak to each other in passing, / Only a signal shown, and a distant voice in the darkness; / So on the ocean of life, we pass and speak one another, / Only a look and a voice, then darkness again and a silence.” (1874, Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, Tales of a Wayside Inn, part 3, section 4)

I talk a lot about relationships and communication, because those things are very important to me. I want people to be more to each other than just ships that pass in the night.

Thank you for reading!
